Team Bio - Toby Cooper

Toby, mastman, has more time on Scorpio than any other crew member.  A sailing fanatic, he's a regular on Moorigami as well.  Although he's been focused on mast duties the past few seasons, Toby has performed at virtually every position on the boat.  His versatility is invaluable.  He was member of the 1968 Olympic kayak team and was an early International 505 sailor.  He has sailed on both coasts, having spent several years on the Chesapeake.

He is a member of the Orcas Island Yacht Club.  When not sailing, Toby spends his leisure time tending to horses and playing polo.  A stockbroker, Toby lives in Redwood City.
