Scorpio's Hull Problems

Between November 2005 and May 2006, Scorpio faced some difficult hull problems.  Following is a chronology of how the problem was discovered and how it was dealt with.

November 2005:  Scorpio experiences serious hull corrosion.  See Photos.

December 2005:  Repair or replace? 
                          What do we do now?
                          Trial IRC Certificates reflect onerous rating "hit".
                                 Scorpio cancels plan to race in 2006 Pacific Cup.

February 2006:    Decision finally made:  Scorpio heading to Washington.

March 2006:        Progress Underway in Washington.

April 2006:          Good news - boat due back by end of April!
