Team Scorpio "Geezers" finish 5th in StFYC International Masters Regatta

For the second year, John Siegel was invited to skipper a J-105 in the International Masters Regatta.  Limited to skippers over 60 and crew over 45, John was joined by Toby Cooper, trimmer and Bren Meyer, tactician.  Filling out the team were Peter Cameron, main and Gary Sadamori, bow. 

Although the team never really threatened for 1st place in the five race series, after winning race three on Saturday the team was in solid third place behind Malin Burnham's San Diego team and Bruce Munro's local group.  Two weak finishes on Sunday dropped the team back to fifth for the series. 

This event is always represented by high profile sailors from around the world.  It was a pleasure to compete against these sailing legends.
